Consumption is a key issue within our cities today. However our desire to consume does not have to include material products. This centre looks at the consumption of knowledge and aims to engage consumers with the latest world affairs whilst promoting sustainability. Whilst the digital age is seen to be detaching ourselves from social interaction, this centre promotes community engagement through free-cycle book swapping, exhibitions and workshops.
